Abstract

This research is intended to design and build a web-based management information system for Ulfa Service Workshop. The study is based on existing manual operational activities, such as service data recording, spare parts stock management, and transaction documentation, which frequently lead to errors, inefficiency, and challenges in monitoring overall business operations. The Research and Development (R and D) approach is implemented through the waterfall model, covering stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is developed using web technology to support real-time data processing and enhance accessibility. The findings indicate that the system successfully manages service records, transaction data, spare parts inventory, and mechanic information while also producing reports automatically. As a result, the developed system improves operational effectiveness, reduces human error, and supports more efficient decision-making in workshop management.
