Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based educational fee information system at SMAN 2 Lembang Jaya integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway. The background of this study is the manual payment process, which is prone to recording errors, loss of payment proof, delays, and long queues. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall development model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, and integrated with Midtrans, supporting payment methods via E-Wallet (GoPay) and bank transfer (virtual accounts for BRI, BNI, and Mandiri). The implementation results show that the system can facilitate online payments, provide real-time payment status information, and generate automated reports. Black Box and User Acceptance Testing confirm that all features function according to user needs. In conclusion, this system improves efficiency, accuracy, and convenience in managing educational fees at the school.
