Abstract

This study presents the design and development of a visitor queue system for to the Class II B State Detention Center in Padang, Indonesi, Indonesia. The conventional queuing method currently employed has proved inefficient, leading to overcrowding and dissatisfaction among visitors. This research utilizes the Waterfall development methodology to create a web-based system aimed at optimizing the management of visitor queues, enhancing service efficiency, and improving user experience. Key features of the system include online registration, real-time tracking of queue status, and automated notifications for users. Usability tests were conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in an average score of 88.125, classifying the system as "Excellent." This system supports the prison's administration in organizing visitor management effectively, ensuring a smoother and more organized process for both officers and visitors
