Abstract

Nagari Panyalaian still faces challenges in providing administrative services to the community, particularly in managing correspondence, complaints, news, and reports which are mostly done manually, leading to inefficiency, delays, and lack of transparency. To overcome this, a web-based community service information system was designed and developed with main features such as user management, submission and processing of letters, handling of complaints, dissemination of news and information, report generation, and collection of community testimonials. The system was built using the waterfall method through stages of requirements analysis, UML-based system design (Use Case, Activity Diagram, and Sequence Diagram), implementation with PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap, and testing to ensure functionality. Test results indicate that all features operate according to user needs and achieved an average SUS score of 97.14, categorized as excellent and highly acceptable. This system effectively addresses the needs of Nagari Panyalaian by improving the quality and efficiency of public services, accelerating administrative processes, and promoting transparency in governance. Furthermore, it provides a solid foundation for future improvements, such as the integration of digital signatures for official.
