Abstract

This research aim to Analyze Classrooom Interaction in EFL learning to Speak at State Senior High School 10 Sarolangun. There are three of formulation of problem in this study, namely 1). To identify the types of English interaction to speak in EFL classroom. 2).To state and analyze the gaps between Teacher’s Talk and Students’ Talks. 3). To determine aspects of Student’s Talks direction. This research was a case study qualitative research. Data were collected through classroom observation. To answer the research question data were obtained through observation in three meeting (video recording ). Analysis using the foreign language interaction system (FLINT) and it was found The types of classroom interaction in Efl classroom were teacher speaking whole class, teacher speaking to individual, and students speaking to teacher. And found that the gaps between teacher talk and students talk in meeting 1 (21.4%), meeting 2 (-6.9 %) and meeting 3 (9.6%). And to answer third question determine aspects of students talk was found students talk in meeting 1 (39.1%) with utterances 74 , meeting 2 (50.1%) with utterances 102 and meeting 3 (43.5%) with utterances 58. It can be concluded that the higest students talk was in meeting 2.
