Abstract
Improving the quality of academic services is a crucial factor in enhancing the satisfaction of the academic community at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Currently, service satisfaction surveys are conducted manually using Google Forms and Microsoft Excel, which makes data processing inefficient and difficult to interpret. This study aims to design and develop a web-based service satisfaction survey information system to facilitate data collection, processing, and analysis. The system development follows the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, coding, implementation, and testing using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The system is built using PHP native, JavaScript, and MySQL, featuring login functionality, survey completion, user data management, and survey result visualization in graphical format to ease analysis. The test results indicate that the system enhances efficiency in managing satisfaction surveys, provides easily interpretable data output, and supports faculty service evaluation. The implementation of this system is expected to assist the faculty in improving service quality, supporting accreditation processes, and accelerating data-driven decision-making. With this system, the faculty can respond more effectively to complaints and the needs of the academic community, thereby improving overall service satisfaction. Additionally, this research contributes theoretically to the development of web-based systems for service satisfaction surveys in higher education institutions.
