Abstract

The development of information technology plays an important role in supporting data processing and decision-making within organizations. PT. Andalan Mitra Prestasi routinely evaluates employees to determine the best performer. However, the current manual evaluation process is time-consuming, prone to errors, and inefficient due to the large number of employees. Assessments are based on criteria such as discipline and compliance, responsibility, communication, performance, attendance, and tardiness, with discipline and compliance given higher weight. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to conduct objective and automated employee evaluations. The results show that the system helps HRD conduct evaluations more quickly, systematically, and accurately, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of selecting the best employee at PT. Andalan Mitra Prestasi.
