Abstract
Wahyu Septiwana – 2117020079 Design and Development of a Web-Based E-Ticketing Information System for Pantai Air Manis Tourist Destination in Padang. The advancement of information technology offers significant opportunities to improve efficiency across various sectors, including tourism. Pantai Air Manis, one of the leading tourist destinations in Padang, still uses a manual ticket booking system, which leads to several issues such as long queues and inefficient record-keeping. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-ticketing information system integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall model approach. The result of this study is an e-ticketing system that enables visitors to book tickets online, make digital payments, and receive tickets via email. The system also assists administrators in monitoring transaction data and visitor feedback in real time. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methods, which showed that the system functions properly and is well accepted by users. From the UAT results, the system obtained an average score of 91.6%, indicating that it is very well accepted by users. This shows that the system successfully meets usability and user satisfaction, making it feasible to be implemented as a digital solution to support online ticket management at Pantai Air Manis. This system is expected to improve service quality and operational efficiency at the Pantai Air Manis tourist site
