Abstract

Some prominent definitions of Communicative Language Teaching are mentioned along with the origin, theoritical background and major characteristic features. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) is one of best and a recent approach in teaching English as foreign / second language and it has been brought under focus by many linguistics ad researchers. This paper also explain about how communicative the Teacher’s technique in teaching learning process of English. Researcher focused to finded How communicative the Teacher’s technique in teaching learning process of English at MAN 2 Padang. The method that used by researcher to collected the data by used Questionaire via Google form, they were 28 students as a sample from 33 student of Class XI IPA 1 that followed this research. Based on the research, it was founded that the Teacher’s technique of English learning of Class XI IPA 1 was Very Communicative. From the data obtained, the overall result of the Teacher’s technique is Very Communicative. Keywords: Teacher’s Technique, CLT.
