Abstract

Rumah Tahfiz Hubbil Qur'an is a non-formal educational institution focused on Quran memorization coaching, operating across three locations in Kuranji District, Padang City. The management of its tahfiz program is still carried out manually using notebooks, which leads to problems such as data duplication, a high risk of recording errors, and difficulty in comprehensively monitoring students' memorization progress, examination results, and payment status. This study aims to design and build an integrated Tahfiz Program Management Information System (SIMHQ) to support student data management, memorization recording and monitoring, tahfiz examination administration, and monthly payment status tracking. The system was developed using the prototyping method, covering the stages of requirement identification, prototype design, user evaluation, refinement, and implementation and testing. The system was built as a cross-platform application using the Flutter framework for the frontend and Supabase as the backend, allowing access through both Android devices and web browsers. The system integrates four main components: management of student, teacher, class, and branch data; memorization recording through ziyadah, muroja'ah, and mutaba'ah features; scheduling and scoring of regular and comprehensive tahfiz examinations along with graduation management; and monitoring of monthly tuition payment status. System testing was conducted through functional testing and a System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation. The functional testing results showed that all system features operated as designed, while the SUS evaluation obtained an average score of 80.5 from 10 respondents, exceeding the minimum threshold of 70. These results indicate that SIMHQ is well accepted and usable by its users, and successfully addresses the previously manual management of the tahfiz program.
