Abstract

This study aims to design and build an e-recruitment information system at Parewa Coffee cafe to overcome problems in the recruitment process which is still done manually. The system development method used is Waterfall, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. In the analysis stage, observations and interviews were conducted at three Parewa Coffee outlets in Padang City to identify system requirements. The analysis results indicate the need for a system capable of managing applicant data, announcing job vacancies, conducting the selection process, and facilitating communication between applicants and recruiters. The system was designed using a Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach such as Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams, as well as a wireframe-based interface. The system implementation was carried out using the HTML, CSS, PHP programming languages, and the Bootstrap framework with the support of XAMPP as a local server. System testing was carried out using the Black Box method and system usability scale (SUS) to ensure the system functionality meets user needs. Test results indicate that all features operate according to user needs and achieved an average SUS score of 88.2, categorized as excellent and highly acceptable. The results of this study are expected to provide an effective and efficient digital solution in the employee recruitment process at Parewa Coffee.
