Abstract

State Islamic University (UIN) Imam Bonjol Padang collaborates with the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) of West Sumatra Province through the establishment of the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ). Currently, the BAZNAS scholarship selection process at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang is still done manually, as well as the high demand for BAZNAS scholarships. This condition shows the need for a more efficient system to support the scholarship selection process to be faster and more accurate. One of the proposed solutions is the application of a Decision Support System (SPK) based on the Simple Additive Weight (SAW) method, which allows the calculation of candidate scores based on predetermined criteria. Test results show that this method achieves an accuracy rate of 80%, which indicates significant potential in improving the BAZNAS scholarship selection process at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.
