Abstract

The Extracurricular Credit Unit (SKEK) is a point system used by UIN Imam Bonjol Padang to measure the level of student participation in their activities outside the classroom. Of course, the Faculty of Science and Technology, which is part of UIN Imam Bonjol, will follow the system. The problems that occur in the SKEK submission process are that the submission process is still manual, the documentation of SKEK evidence by students is still done manually, the tendency of students to apply for SKEK at the end of the time, and not being able to monitor the collection of student SKEK points. This research aims to design and build a SKEK information system at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The system development method used in the waterfall. The modeling language used is Unified Modelling Language (UML). The system is built with 5 actors, namely students, academic supervisors, heads of study programs, heads of academic sub-divisions, and vice deans of student affairs. The output of this research is a website-based SKEK information system at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. It is hoped that this system can help the SKEK collection and submission process to be better than when it is done manually.
