Abstract

In the business world, location is one of the crucial factors that influence the success of a business, especially for businesses with limited capital such as MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). Determining the exact location is often a challenge for them. Therefore, it is important to conduct a survey of several potential alternative locations according to the type of business to be carried out. To assist in making location decisions, the Multi Objective On The Basis Of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method is used. This method considers various relevant factors by giving weight to each factor based on the type of business concerned. This weight can vary depending on the type of criteria. This decision support system has the goal of helping MSME actors in Pariaman City area in finding strategic business locations. Implementation of the decision support system with the MOORA method is carried out through the PHP programming language with system design supported by the UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling language. Thus, it is hoped that decisions related to business locations can be more risky and minimize errors that may arise.
