The group's capacity which can accommodate 200,000 members is one of the reasons for choosing the Telegram Application by the UPT Library of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Starting to operate in March 2020. The Telegram Group of UPT Imam Bonjol Padang Library has managed to gather 4485 members, most of whom joined on their own accord. The Telegram group of UPT Peprustaaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang is managed by 6 administrators consisting of internal and external parties. Like conventional library services, the UPT Imam Bonjol Padang Library Telegram Group also has busy days and hours. Monday is the busiest day in the Telegram Group of UPT Imam Bonjol Library and at 13.00 WIB every day is the peak hour. The choice of UPT Imam Bonjol Padang Library to use the telegram group is quite compatible with several indicators, namely the capacity of the group that is able to accommodate the entire academic community of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, the presence of group statistics features, multi admin and accommodating various types of messages. However, there are still some things that need to be improved, especially the involvement of more librarians in providing services to the academic community of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang so that the existence of this telegram group is really able to provide support and assistance in the implementation of the tri dharma pergutuan high activity.
