Abstract

The process of character learning will come true if the teacher has the interpersonal communication skills as soft skills when interacting with students.It means the interaction and relationship that is created by having the soft skills Interpersonal Communication Skills will effectively bring positive influence on attitudes and behavior of pupils.From an interview with teachers revealed that there are saveral strategies Interpersonal Communication Skills held by teachers, for example,when the teacher gives praise,advice,criticsm even when teachers scold students.Actually,it is a potential of soft skills of teachers.The hidden potential will be abble to realize the character learning. The task of the teacher today is more digging and strengthen these potentials.
