Abstract
Analysis of Students' Scientific Literacy Ability on Calorie Material” compiled byEla Raniyati, NIM 1714080042. Department of Tadris Science-Physics, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang. This research is motivated by the results of students' scientific literacy skills based on the PISA test (Programme for International Students Assessment) 2018 is still below the specified averageOECD. This research will analyzehow students' scientific literacy skills on heat materialbased on three articleson aspects of competence, knowledge, and attitudes.This research aims toto analyzeability literacy science learners on the material heat by articlecreationNisa Wulandari, Hayat Sholihin, articleresearch Yesi Martianingsih, Setiya Utariand Duden Saepuzaman, and articlesMentari Darma Putri research. While the benefits of this research are for scientific development who use or read this research. This study uses library research (Library Research). Data sources consist of primary data sources, namely:articleresearch by Nisa Wulandari and Hayat Solihin,articleresearch by Yesi Martianingsih, Setiya Utari and Duden Saepuzaman, andarticleMentari Darma Putri research, secondary data obtained from reading materials,article-articleresearch, and other scientific works that are relevant to the research. The data collection technique in this research is documentation, which is looking for data about things or thingsvariablein the form of notes, books, papers, articles,articleand books. In this study, the data analysis technique used is the inductive method (Inductive Method) by looking at specific things and then drawing a new, more general conclusion. Research resultarticlefirstisachievement scientific literacy ability in the knowledge aspect is 66.45% while in the competence aspect the scientific literacy ability is in two indicators, namely identifying scientific issues and using scientific evidence are classified as good, while the indicators to explain scientific phenomena are quite sufficient.Articlesecondare students who have high, medium and low scientific literacy skills are 8 people, 24 people and 6 people.Articlethirdisthe scientific literacy ability of the students in terms of knowledge and competence as a whole reached an average score of 41.35%. Discussion of the threearticleabout the componentsarticlethat affect the results of students' scientific literacy abilities from the problems contained in thearticle, different problems have different goals to be achieved, so that it affects the results of students' scientific literacy skills. This is because there are several significant causal factors that affect the differences in the results of students' scientific literacy abilities.
