Abstract
Students ' Perception on the use of online learning application in English classroom during covid 19 pandemic During online learning using the application in English classroom , in addition to provide many convenciences , there is also obstacles that cause student perceptions . The purpose of this study was to describe students ' perception on the use of online learning application in English classroom during covid - 19 pandemic at MAS Muhammadiyah Tamiang . The research method uses descriptive quantitative research . Data was collected through questionnaire and interview . There were 30 students , 7 of tenth grade students in majoring science , 7 of tenth grade students majoring in social science , 8 of eleven students majoring science and 8 of eleven students majoring in social science . The result of research showed that most students had a good perception on the use of online learning application in English classroom . As seen from the data , for the ease of access using application Student perceptions related to the percentage of ease of access WhatsApp ( 66.23 % ) and ease of access Geschool ( 69.35 % ) , student perceptions related to usefulness in using the WhatsApp and Geschool application percentage ( 91.18 % ) . However , some students find it difficult or obstacle online aming about telecommunication knowledge disagree is ( 65,1 ) The conclusion of this study was that the students feel the use online learning application in English classroom is easy and satisfied , but also some there are difficult to operate computer and telecommunication knowledge .
