Abstract

Asset management at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Padang City has conventionally relied on manual recording and Excel spreadsheets, resulting in various obstacles such as uncentralized data, a high risk of recording errors, delayed reporting, and difficulties in monitoring asset conditions and locations in real-time. This research aims to design and build a web-based Asset Management Information System that can integrate the entire process of data collection, maintenance, borrowing, relocation, and asset reporting. The system development method used is Iterative Waterfall, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, verification (testing), and deployment. The system was built using the Next.js framework, Tailwind CSS styling, and Supabase as a cloud-based relational database. Functional testing results using the Black Box Testing method indicate that all core features under both Admin and Staf access rights operate properly according to expected specifications. Furthermore, user acceptance testing through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which involved the management and staff of BAZNAS Padang City, achieved an eligibility percentage rate of 94.5%, placing it in the "Very Good" category. This proves that the developed system is effective in enhancing the efficiency of the institution's asset governance in a transparent, accurate, and integrated manner.
