Abstract

The financial management of student organizations (Ormawa) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, is still carried out conventionally, causing various problems such as non-uniform report formats, the risk of data loss during management transitions, and delays in the preparation of Accountability Reports (LPJ). The reports are generally not based on proper accounting reporting standards. This research aims to design and build a website-based Student Organization Financial Information System that implements the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) to facilitate an integrated process of recording, reporting, and financial supervision between Ormawa and the Faculty. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Waterfall development model approach, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The system was built using the PHP programming language (Laravel Framework) and a MySQL database. Functional testing of the system using the Black-Box Testing method showed that all main features run validly according to the expected specifications. Meanwhile, evaluating user satisfaction and ease of use using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method involving 8 respondents (representing all system actors) produced a score of 80.62, which is in the Grade A or excellent category. The system has also been successfully implemented online using a hosting service. The research results indicate that this information system is able to digitize and automate the preparation of structured financial reports (such as Activity Reports and Cash Books), increase budget transparency, and facilitate document verification bureaucracy more efficiently and accountably within the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.
