Abstract

Abstract: Islamic education is education that is managed according to Islam, neither in the sense of education undertaken by Islamic society, nor in the sense of education maintained by Islamic education foundations. Islamic education comes from the Qur'an and Sunnah which contain the basic principles of Allah SWT, Human beings, nature, intellect and science in accordance with Islam. Islamic education is all the efforts made by Muslim educators on the spiritual and physical development of learners in certain situations to improve faith, devotion, and morals, knowledgeable and scientific charitable according to Islamic Shari'ah for the happiness of learners in the world andafterlife. Education is carried out in the best possible way according to Allah's example to his servant and who has been exemplified.by Rasulullah SAW to his companions. This investigation used library research that is sourced by books that have been published related to Islamic educational books by Muhammad 'Athiah al-Abrasyi. Educational .content dedicated to learners includes the science of syari'at and not syari'at, the science derived from the revelation of science from the acquisition of hurnan's thought through reasoning, observation, experiment, investigation and so forth. The Educator should be well prepared especially the mental preparation, scientific preparation and physical preparation, so that he is able to educate, give model and be a good example, to be a role model. Learners do not only have certain rights, but also some obligations. They should study science with a sincere intention, high motivation, use their minds correctly, and try to maintain their nature and identity. Islamic education will achieve good results if it is supported by environment that upholds the universal values, values of faith, taqwa, .and.noble character. The goal oflslamic education is not only relevant to national education and development goals but also the souls contained in the national anthem of each State.
