Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the category of cognitive process dimensions contained in the textbook "English for Nusantara" and to determine the proportion of cognitive process dimensions between LOTS and HOTS in the textbook "English for Nusantara" using Bloom's Taxonomy Revised. This research is descriptive and quantitative. The subject of this research is the textbook "English for Nusantara" for the seventh grade of junior high school in the academic year 2022-2023. This study used a checklist instrument to collect data. The results of this study: 1) There are 3 categories of cognitive process dimensions for reading questions in the textbook "English for Nusantara," namely remembering, understanding, and analyzing. 2) The proportion between LOTS and HOTS is 92.10% of the reading questions in the "English for Nusantara" textbook are LOTS and 7.89% HOTS questions. This means that LOTS is more dominant than HOTS in reading questions in the "English for Nusantara" textbook. This study found that the reading questions in the "English for Nusantara" textbook are not in line with the English learning outcomes in junior high school English learning in the Merdeka curriculum.
