Abstract

Every educational institution has alumni who have an important role in influencing the reputation and quality of higher education. Tracer studies are a must in collecting information about alumni achievements and contributions. Alumni tracer study is a tracking tool to obtain Alumni information at UIN Imam Bonjol College which is useful in improving student learning. However, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang faces problems in tracking alumni because the existing tracer study website does not meet design, methodology and questionnaire standards. Other problems include a questionnaire display that is not user-friendly, a login system that does not differentiate between active students and alumni, and incomplete alumni profiles. This research uses applied qualitative methods with a descriptive approach to describe existing problems and apply process analysis and meaning in context. qualitative research. The RAD (Rapid Application Development) approach is used to build systems with a structured and optimal approach. It is hoped that the proposed system will be a useful tool for universities in processing data from graduates. The alumni dashboard system being developed is expected to provide solutions to existing problems, including better questionnaire displays, an accurate login system, and complete alumni profiles. In this way, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang can track and utilize alumni information more effectively to improve the quality of education. This research aims to develop a website-based alumni dashboard system to improve tracking and management of alumni data at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. It is hoped that this system will provide great benefits for universities in optimizing relationships with alumni and improving the quality of education.
