Abstract

ABSTRAC In accordance with technological developments, many scholars are taking part in providing enlightenment to the people on their respective YouTube channels or cyber. Abdul Shomad, Adi Hidayat, and Khalid Basalamah are scholars who take part in accordance with technological developments by providing enlightenment to the people through their respective cyber-youtubes. Abdul Shomad, Adi Hidayat, and Khalid Basalamah interpreted the letter al-Humazah because there are many netizens/youtubers who are used to and often post habits that are prohibited by Allah SWT as stated in this letter al-Humazah. This study aims to find out, to analyze the contextual interpretation of the letter al-Humazah according to Abdul Shomad, Adi Hidayat, and Khalid Basalamah on youtube. The data collection technique that the author uses is: documentation of data and information acquisition in the form of video lectures by Abdul Shomad and Adi Hidayat about the interpretation of contextualization of Surah al-Humazah on youtube. The results of the study show that the interpretation of the contextualization of surat al-Humazah according to Abdul Shomad is woe to people who make fun of or bully other people via the internet such as Whatsapp, Instagram and other social media because they are not tabayun, whereas according to Adi Hidayat ie woe, humiliate to husband and wife who collect treasures and exhibit them both in cyberspace and in the real world. The contextual interpretation of Surah al-Humazah according to Khalid Basalamah: woe and humiliation for people who gossip both in the real world and in cyberspace which make social media an application for gossip. The Ibrah that can be drawn from the interpretation of the contextualization of Surat al-Humazah according to Khalud Basalamah is that Muslims must understand and practice the Qur'an as it should, not ridicule and bully others on social media, be selective and not easily believe in gossip, rumors and news. who are confusing on social media and raising awareness to be wiser, not easy to indulge in disgrace but cover the disgrace of others and oneself.
