Abstract

This thesis is entitled "'VIEW OF IMAM MALIK AND IMAM SYAFI'I ON THE LIMITATIONS OF WIPE THE HEAD IN ABLUTION''. Author Ahmad Roihan NST NIM. 1813020014 Comparison of Schools. The research was conducted to open insight into the problem of rubbing the head when performing ablution so as to eliminate being too fanatical about a school and being able to carry out worship without any doubts. Based on these problems, the author is interested in conducting a study entitled Imam Malik and Syafi'i's views on the limitations of rubbing the head in ablution. The research question in this thesis, what is the argument used by Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i regarding the limitation of wiping the head in ablution? what is the reason for the difference of opinion between Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i regarding the limits of wiping the head in ablution? Which opinion is the strongest among the opinions of Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i regarding the limits of wiping the head in ablution? The purpose of this study is to find out what the arguments used by Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i regarding the limits of wiping the head in ablution, to find out the causes of differences in opinion of Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i to find out the strongest opinion between Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i regarding the limits of wiping. head in wudu. The method used in this research is the library method, namely viewing, searching, analyzing, and examining the arguments contained in old books, both in the form of traditions of fiqh and others. Then as for the results of this study, first, the argument used by Imam Malik, the hadith narrated by Abdullah bin Zaid and Imam Shafi'i, uses the hadith narrated by al-Mughirah. Second, the causes of differences of opinion are different in understanding surah al Maidah verse six wamsahu Biru'usikum and different in using hadith. Third, the opinions of Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i are both strong because the arguments of the hadiths are both authentic hadiths, but the opinion of Imam Shafi'i is lighter and easier for the people to practice.
