Abstract

Association Perception in Solok Regency Towards Online ELT During Covid 19 Pandemic Era. This study is motivated by cases researcher found in Solok Regency which faced by English teachers such as; both teacher and students lack knowledge of technologies, problems with connection, some faces problem in adapting time schedule, lesson plan adaptation and so on. The issues that comes in online learning must explained briefly, so this research conducted to reveal English Teachers' Association perception toward online learning implementation. This research type is quantitative descriptive, the sample is 19 English Teachers' Association in Solok Regency.The result shows that English Teachers' Association toward Online Learning in Solok Regency are Learning effectivity indicator statements mostly teachers neutral. Then, In facing the problem when implementing the lesson plan teachers doing some way which are, by explaining the material more detail and by adapting with the situation, After that, kind of problems that faced by the teachers such as connection problem, students do not have smartphone, teacher inability to measure students understanding, students are not focus. Then, problem in structure and infrastructure are Network and Gadget problem.Then, about how teachers solve the problem related to gadget problem when conducting online learning are by teaching those students offline or ask them to study again at home then, and ask the student to provide gadget. The implication, it will enrich other teachers knowledge and get full understanding of the issue and problem during Online Learning implementation which will affects their response toward online learning and enable them in preparing effective steps in conducting teaching learning process in Online Learning
