Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has changed all existing systems of life, including in the field of education. Higher education is no exception, this situation makes all universities instruct all academics, both lecturers, education staff and students to carry out work and learning activities at home. Therefore, as a very vital institution in supporting learning activities, libraries must continue to contribute and provide services for relevant and important information sources in supporting teaching and learning activities. This paper aims to describe the services carried out by the UIN Imam Bonjol Padang Library during the Covid-19 period. The methods used in this paper are qualitative, descriptive, and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that library services to the academic community during the COVID-19 pandemic include OPAC collection tracing services, digital collection services (repository) at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, borrowing and returning collection services. From the discussion of this paper, it can be concluded that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the services carried out by the UIN Imam Bonjol Padang library were in order to support the learning and research process for the academic community by using the online remote method.
